About us
Susan Karsch has been a dog breeder, handler and trainer for over 15 years. Since 1990, she has trained her own and others' dogs to basic and advanced obedience titles, and has finished 6 conformation champions, several from the Bred By Exhibitor classes.  With her champion English Cocker Sadie, she has won numerous special awards, including a K-9 to 5 is located on Hanover Street, behind VCA Roberts Animal Hospital (Rte 53), in Hanover, Massachusetts. It's the only day care and training center for dogs in the area.

Sanitation, health and safety are the top priorities at K-9 to 5.  The facility has hygienic flooring, nylon hammocks and bedding that are cleaned every day.

Dogs are screened for behavioral soundness and temperament before they are accepted into the K-9 to 5 family.

During the day, they have play time in groups that are carefully selected for compatibility in size, age and energy.  They have nap time in private enclosures.  Depending on weather, they are exercised indoors and outdoors.

Young puppies may socialize and have house training in more controlled environments like exercise pens.  Their schedule is customized according to their age and ability.
